The Broon Troot Orchestra was formed in 2005.
We’ll do sets of tunes throughout your evening reception (and during the day if you require live drinks reception music).
Set lists are available on request, and we are always keen to get the mix of songs right, when talking to clients, future brides, grooms, and parents!
You’ll get the best rock & ceilidh sound, from a well-established, professional, and fully insured wedding band! If you are not familiar with ceilidh, we will call all the traditional dances for you. It’s all good fun!
The band members have played over 600 gigs in the past 15 years, and over 100 weddings.
Along with Weddings, we also ‘do’ Festivals, Parties, Balls, and Pubs / Clubs work.
What we can do for you
For that special occasion (weddings, balls, etc.) where ceilidh has been requested at the time of booking, you’ll get your Dashing White Sergeant. You’ll also get your Eightsome Reel. You’ll get your Gay Gordon, your Strip the Willow, your Military Two Step, your Canadian Barn Dance, and your Virginia Reel. If ceilidh is what you want, we feature some of the finest fiddlers in Scotland.
